DANCING THROUGH BRI
About Us
Dancing through Bri is a non-profit organization founded by Osvaldo and Ester Rodriguez in July 2022 to honor the memory of their daughter, Brianna Aileen Rodriguez, whom we tragically lost in November 5, 2021 while attending the Astroworld concert. Brianna, known fondly as Bri, had a passion for dance and a zest for life. She was always the life of the party, and her personality and movements were full of dance and fun. She is loved by all whose lives she touched. She started dancing as a child, and she was a member of the Heights High School Redcoats at the time of her passing; she loved the exposure to new things, the sisterhood, and the life lessons that being part of the dance team brought. This 501(c)(3) charitable organization serves to perpetuate Bri’s passion and vitality through providing scholarships to college-bound dancers as well as dance camps and events for young dancers. Dancing through Bri will keep her memory alive and allow us to continue to share her passion of dance in her name.
The City of Houston proclaimed Dancing through Bri day on November 5, 2022.
